Derby's Pet Fence is an independent installer of under the ground dog containment systems. These systems consist of wires that are buried underground that hook to a radio transmitter which uses the underground wire as an antenna to transmit its radio signal. This creates a dog fence system that is effectively underground and therefore, invisible. The signal is picked up by the dog's electronic collar only when the dog is too close to the underground wire. You may have heard of these dog fence systems described as fencing that is invisible, out-of-sight, hidden, buried, or underground. All of these terms refer to the same basic technology used for dog containment fences.
